clay county nine one one lines are down and can not be reached from a cell phone. All emergency calls must be made from a landline phone in order to reach the dispatch center. we have someone at each fire station and officers out patrolling the county in the event you have an emergency and do not have a landline. this outage has affected several western counties and they are working to restore the outage.
