Cold case detectives are asking for your help to identify a man with a missing girl.
San Mateo Police cold case detectives are asking for the community’s help in solving a missing person case from June 8, 1976. New information has been brought to the attention of investigators and we need your help identifying a person of interest who is seen standing next to Sherry Roach in the attached photograph. Sherry had ties to Santa Rosa and San Mateo, so we need the help of North and South Bay communities to share this information far and wide.
Sherry Roach was 17 years old when she went missing in San Mateo. Sherry was a white female, had some American Indian background, 5’-5”, 115 pounds, brown hair, blue eyes, and wore glasses. Her teeth were crooked, and she may have changed hair color to blonde.
