Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating a shooting that killed a man in Copiague yesterday afternoon.
 
First Precinct officers responded to 70 Court Street at approximately 3:50 p.m. after a 911 caller reported a man had been shot. When officers arrived they found Jewuel Hanson, 25, of Lindenhurst, dead from multiple gunshot wounds.
 
The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information on this incident to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
