Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports that on 02/18/20 at 1537 Hours his office was called to investigate a personal injury crash that occurred on Marcellus Hwy and Decatur Rd in Volinia Township, Cass County Michigan. AJ High, 42 yr old, Cassopolis resident, was east bound on Marcellus Hwy when his vehicle was struck by another vehicle that was traveling south on Decatur Rd. The south bound vehicle was driven by Eric Nshimyumukiza, 33 yr old, Granger Indiana resident. Mr. High had sustained injuries from the crash and was transported to Lakeland St. Joseph Hospital. Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to be contributing factors to this crash. This crash remains under investigation.
