Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the shooting death of a 39 year-old Hispanic man in East Los Angeles.
On Saturday, February 8, 2020 at approximately 10:20 p.m., deputies from the East Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station responded to a home in the 6000 block of Southside Drive regarding a call of a gunshot victim. Upon arriving, they discovered the victim outside a home. He appeared to be suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries early this morning. The victim did not live at the location.
The suspects, described only as two Hispanic male adults, fled the scene on foot.
This incident is being investigated as a gang related murder. The murder weapon remains outstanding.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to investigate the shooting death of a man. The incident occurred on Saturday February 8, 2020, at approximately 10:20 p.m., on the 6000 block of Southside Drive, East Los Angeles.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
