Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports that on 02/08/2020 at approximately 0021 hours his office responded to a vehicle versus deer crash on Union Rd near Guyer St in Porter Township, Cass County, Michigan. Granger, IN resident 21 year old Kaitlynn Brown, was traveling northbound on Union Rd when a deer struck her vehicle. Brown suffered minor injuries and was transported to St. Joe Medical Center for evaluation. Seat belts were utilized and speed was not a factor. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor in this crash.
