Flood Warning until 01:45AM Saturday

The National Weather Service in BLACKSBURG has extended the

* Flood Warning for Small Streams in... West central Greenbrier County in southeastern West Virginia...

* Until 145 AM EST Saturday.

* At 730 PM EST, Flooding continued along the Meadow River in western Greenbrier County.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Rainelle... Rupert... and Hines.

* The Meadow River has crested at Hines and will gradually begin to recede. As of 715 PM, the river level was 15.40 feet. This was 1.4 feet above flood stage.

* AFFECTED AREAS: GREENBRIER, WV

Instructions:

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
