Northwood construction begins 
Construction has started on the North Northwood Road project. This project, designed by the Kansas City Public Works Department and built by Platte County Public Works, will improve Northwood Road between NW 52nd Street and NW Prairie View Road, building a two-lane collector street with sidewalks on the west side.
Construction is scheduled for completion in summer 2020. During construction, anticipate road closures on Northwood Road between Strathbury Road and 58th Terrace starting today.
