At 1151 AM EST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated flooding across the warned area. Over the last 12 to 24 hours, 2 to 4 inches of rain have fallen across the warned area with another half inch possible this afternoon. The heaviest rain has moved out of the area, however flood waters will take time to recede beyond the end of the rainfall. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Andrews, Murphy, Benton, Ducktown, Hayesville, Nantahala Lake, William L. Davenport Refuge, Tusquitee, Violet and Conasauga.
