During the transition to the new Public Works building, be advised NO used motor oil will be accepted at the Township Recycling Facility until further notice.
DO NOT leave oil containers at the facility. You will be notified via this Nixle service once used motor oil will again be accepted at the recycling facility.

Waste oil and Oil Filters are accepted for recycling at the County's Northern, 601 New Hampshire Avenue
Lakewood, NJ 08701 and Southern, 379 Haywood Road
Manahawkin, NJ 08050 Recycling Centers.
Residents may drop off their waste oil at these locations during operating hours at no cost.
- There is a 5-gallon limit per resident per day.
- Waste oil cannot contain gas, water or antifreeze.
- Operating hours for the Northern and Southern Recycling Centers are 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Note: Waste oil is not accepted from commercial establishments, schools, or municipalities.
