The Jackson Police Department is pleased to announce Officer David Knolton as February’s “Employee of the Month.” Officer D. Knolton has been employed with the Jackson Police Department for more than twenty-nine years and is currently assigned to the Patrol Division.
Officer D. Knolton is currently working in downtown Jackson. He has done a great job working and communicating with the Jackson Transit Authority and the Farmers Market. He has developed a great rapport with a great number of downtown business owners and operators. Officer D. Knolton also has developed relationships with the homeless.
Officer D. Knolton always has a positive attitude. His attitude reflects in his actions by keeping the downtown area clean and safe for the citizens.
As “Employee of the Month”, Officer D. Knolton received a plaque acknowledging his selection, a gift certificate to a local restaurant, and a designated parking space for the month as well as a day off with pay.
