...Heavy Snow Possible in the Big Country tonight into Wednesday...with an area of sleet and snow possible farther south across the Concho Valley, Heartland and Northern Edwards Plateau... The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for sleet, freezing rain and snow which is in effect from 9 PM this evening to 6 PM CST Wednesday. The Winter Storm Watch is no longer in effect.
* WHAT...An accumulation of sleet topped by 1 to 3 inches of snow expected.
* WHERE...Concho Valley and northern Heartland including Sterling, Coke, Runnels, Irion, Tom Green, Concho, Coleman, and Brown counties.
* WHEN...From late tonight through Wednesday afternoon.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Hazardous travel conditions will develop late Tuesday night and will continue into Wednesday.
