MPD reaching out to local leaders within the Latino community

Marietta Police Department (MPD) reaching out to the Marietta Latino Community
Recognizing the growing Latino population within the city of Marietta, the MPD is proud to announce that our public safety tips and messages will now be available and distributed in both English and Spanish. We have selected one of our existing Spanish speaking employees, Public Safety Ambassador (PSA) Reina Vaquero to assist with bilingual communication. PSA Vaquero will continue her duties as an Ambassador, but will also assist the MPD Public Information Office with the broadcasting of public safety messages to the Latino community.
MPD currently utilizes multiple social media platforms to connect with Marietta residents and business owners including: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Nextdoor and Nixle. We would like local leaders within the Latino community to reach out to PSA Vaquero and help us identify additional ways we can communicate in Espanol. PSA Vaquero can be reached via email at [email protected] or via telephone at (770) 794-2368.
