Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the suspicious death of a Male Adult.  Shortly before 6 A.M. this morning, Officers from the Monterey Park Police Department responded to the 1100 block of College View Drive in the City of Monterey Park in regards to a loud music disturbance call.  Upon arrival, they heard a voice inside the building and made contact with an individual who told them that a male inside was deceased.  The Officers entered the location and observed someone (victim) laying unresponsive on the floor. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. 
 
One individual was detained at the location for questioning.        
 
The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available at this time.

NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to the 1100 block of College View Drive, Monterey Park to assist Monterey Police Department regarding the death of a male adult.

The incident occurred Friday, January 31, 2020, at approximately 5:47 a.m.

The male adult was pronounced dead on scene.
