SUSPECT(S): Tina Bozikis-Coccia, age 62 a resident of Corona
VICTIM(S): Confidential - 6-year-old male a resident of Chino Hills
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, January 24, 2020, at approximately, 9:20 a.m., Deputy N. Negron from the Chino Hills Police Department responded to investigate a report of a 6-year-old male who was allegedly assaulted by his teacher, Tina Bozikis-Coccia. The alleged incident occurred on January 23, 2020, at approximately 2:20 p.m., at Butterfield Ranch Elementary School, in the city of Chino Hills. A joint investigation was conducted with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Crimes Against Children Detail. At the conclusion of the investigation, Tina Bozikis-Coccia was arrested and provided with a court date for the Misdemeanor charge of Willful Cruelty to a Child- PC 273a(b).
