On or about Wednesday, January 29, 2020, PSE&G and its contractors will utilize helicopter crews to help install the MTB transmission line between the PSE&G Plainsboro Substation in Plainsboro and the PSE&G transmission structure near Bernt Midland Boulevard in West Windsor. The schedule for this activity is an estimated timeframe and may be slightly adjusted.
The helicopter activity in West Windsor is expected for a four-day period, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting. This activity entails pulling the rope from one transmission structure to the next using a small helicopter. Brief and intermittent road closures are expected along Cranbury Road, Rabbit Hill Road, and Bernt Midland Boulevard in West Windsor.
Safety is our highest priority at PSE&G. It remains essential that you and anyone occupying your property refrain from going on the right-of-way during construction. Traffic control will consist of police and Traffic Safety Services (TSS). A comprehensive health and safety plan is in place.
PSE&G has secured the required permits and approvals from state and federal agencies, including the Federal Aviation Administration, and any other applicable state, municipal, county and regional agencies.
Please note that all work crews associated with the Project will have credentials identifying them as working on behalf of PSE&G.
