The County of Santa Clara Public Health Department and other local health departments, are working closely with the California Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to closely monitor the novel (new) coronavirus, which originated in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China.
Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety has been receiving a number of calls from concerned community members regarding the coronavirus, please know that our Office of Emergency Services is closely monitoring its impact on our county. As of today's date, we can confirm that there are no cases of coronavirus reported in Santa Clara County.
