The Hesperia Station Gang Team located John Whittle in Riverside County and arrested him on numerous felony warrants

LOCATION: South California St./Washington Ave., Lake Elsinore
SUSPECT: John Michael Whittle, 28 years old, resident of Hesperia
SUMMARY:
The Hesperia Station Gang Team developed information reference a wanted subject, John Michael Whittle. The Gang Team determined he had three felony warrants for Firearms Violation, Manufacture of Controlled Substances and Residential Burglary.
On January 23, 2020, the Hesperia Station Gang Team located Whittle in the Lake Elsinore area of Riverside County. Whittle fled from a vehicle and was apprehended after a foot pursuit. Deputies recovered two loaded handguns and an AR15 style rifle from the vehicle.
Whittle was booked at the West Valley Detention Center for the active felony warrants and additional charges of Carrying a Stolen Loaded Firearm and Felon in Possession of Firearm.
