Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose reports that police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the below pictured individuals wanted for questioning in a theft that occurred on Wednesday, January 15, 2020.

A theft occurred in the area of 773 South Orange Avenue, Newark. During an assault, the victim’s phone fell onto the ground and was taken by one of the suspects. Two of the suspects were wearing a dark colored jackets and dark colored pants. The third suspect was wearing a red colored jacket with dark colored pants. The suspects were last seen leaving the area travelling south on Columbia Avenue.

Detectives investigating this incident are seeking the public’s help in quickly identifying these suspects as part of this investigation. Director Ambrose urges anyone with information about the suspects to call the Division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
