On Thursday January 23, 2020 at approximately 3:45 a.m. Harper Woods Police Officers responded to the 20200 block of Elkhart on the report of two suspects prowling up and down driveways. Officers immediately responded to the area and located the suspects. Investigation revealed that both suspects had a large amount of change in their pockets as well as the following items:
1-A small pink Case Logic change purse
2-A diamond "SEXY" hair barrette
3-A diamond "BOSS" hair barrette
4-A key on a Cedar Point/heart key chain
5-A silver necklace with a silver cross charm
6-A red bandana
7-A black and silver Apple I-Phone
HWDPS is confident these items were stolen from vehicles in the area and hoping victims will come forward and identify these items as their stolen property. If anyone recognizes any of these items, please notify the Harper Woods Department of Public Safety at 313-343-2530.
There will be several subsequent Nixle messages containing photographs of the recovered property.
