It may snow, it may not snow, regardless it will be COLD outside this weekend.  While you're sitting in the house you should peruse the Fall/Winter Recreation Magazine to see what programs begin over the next two weeks.  We have activities for all members of the house.  For the adults in our town we have 3 fantastic art programs, two of them start up next week and the third in February.  

Mosaics

     Learn how to mosaic using stained glass, tiles, china, beads, jewelry and other found objects. This class is appropriate for both beginners and those with some experience. Over 8 weeks you will learn to use various tools and best practices to create your masterpiece in a fun and supportive environment. Cost includes materials and instruction.  $250 Resident/Nonresident - Carin Baum, Instructor

Canvas Painting - Local Landscapes

     Celebrate the beauty of our town by painting a series of landscapes of East Brunswick and the surrounding area. Beginning with step-by-step instruction and then progressing to work from photographs and nature. Students will learn about techniques, color, and composition with a little history mixed in. Open to artists of all skill levels.  $125 Resident/$150 Nonresident - Cristina Romatowski, Instructor

Dot Mandalas

     Learn how to create freeform dot mandalas using grids, dotting tools, and acrylic paint. This class is appropriate for both beginner and experienced artists. Over 4 weeks you will learn to measure and create grids and various techniques for striking circular patterns with colorful dots. Cost includes all materials and instruction. $75 Resident/$100 Nonresident - Dana Winston, Instructor
