Narrative:
On January 15, 2020, Detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Street Team concluded a narcotics sales investigation and arrested George Fink from Simi Valley for his involvement in the sales of heroin to residents of Ventura County.

In early January 2020, detectives obtained information indicating Fink was selling heroin to residents of Ventura County.  Detectives began an investigation and were able to identify Fink’s residence in the 500 Block of Rustic Hills Drive in Simi Valley.   During the investigation, detectives developed enough information indicating Fink was selling heroin and obtained a search warrant for his residence.

On January 15, 2020, detectives served a search warrant at Fink’s residence.  Fink was contacted and initially arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance.  During a search of the residence, detectives located various quantities of heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine and paraphernalia indicative of narcotics sales.  Detectives seized money believed to be proceeds from narcotic sales.  Detectives also located three firearms in a safe inside the residence.  One of the firearms had been previously reported stolen.  The other two firearms were not legally registered to Fink or any other occupant of the residence.  The firearms were seized pending further investigation.

Based on the investigation, detectives arrested Fink for narcotics sales charges.  Fink was booked at the East Valley Jail and is awaiting court proceedings.  The investigation into the recovered firearms is ongoing.

The Narcotics Street Team is comprised of Narcotic Detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office and the Oxnard Police Department.
