Weather Advisory - Heavy Rain 
ALERTSF: Heavy rain is heading to San Francisco within the hour and low lying areas may flood. Exercise caution during this period and check on neighbors, friends, and relatives, especially older adults and those with disabilities and access and functional needs. For an updated forecast at anytime, visit https://forecast.weather.gov. Additional wet weather tips: • If the power goes out, unplug and turn off appliances. Leave one light on so you know when power is restored. • If your home/office is prone to flooding and if time permits, move valuable possessions to the upper floors. • Avoid walking through standing water, even if it is only ankle deep. • Do not drive into flooded areas. If floodwaters rise around your car, abandon the car and move to higher ground if you can do so safely. • Stay clear of water that is in contact with downed power lines. • Call 311 for non-life threatening storm issues.
