Winter Storm Warning until 07:00AM Wednesday

* WHAT...Areas of heavy snow expected. Widespread snow will spread east from the Pacific late this afternoon into the overnight hours. Total snow accumulation of 4 to 6 inches is expected, with locally higher amounts possible. Snow will lift north overnight into early Wednesday morning.

* WHERE...Eastern Strait of Juan de Fuca lowlands, including Port Angeles, Sequim, and Blyn, Western Strait of Juan de Fuca lowlands, including Sekiu, Clallam Bay, and Joyce and North coast, including Neah Bay, Forks, and Queets.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel, including the morning commute, could be very difficult, especially where heavier snow bands develop.

* AFFECTED AREAS: NORTH COAST ... EASTERN STRAIT OF JUAN DE FUCA ... WESTERN STRAIT OF JUAN DE FUCA
