Amarillo Crime Stoppers is asking for help with another Robbery investigation in this week’s “Crime of the Week”. On Wednesday, December 18th, APD officers were dispatched to a business in the 3600 block of NE 24th on a theft that had just occurred. When officers arrived, they discovered that an employee was attempting to stop a female suspect for concealing items on her person. The suspect bit the employee and was able to leave the scene on foot prior to officers arriving. The suspect is described as a heavy-set white female with dirty blonde hair.
