MARGINAL RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FOR TODAY, TUESDAY JANUARY 14, 2020

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southeast
Arkansas, northeast Louisiana, and northwestern portions of
central Mississippi.

Flash flooding is expected today, with some roads potentially
closed or flooded and some structures possibly threatened with
inundation. One to four inches of rain are expected, with locally
higher amounts possible, atop already saturated soils. Minor to
moderate river flooding will continue.

Isolated severe storms, capable of producing hail up to quarter
size and a few damaging wind gusts, are possible today..

.SPOTTER CALL TO ACTION STATEMENT...
The activation of storm spotters, HAM radio operators, and
emergency management personnel in support of severe weather
operations may be needed for portions of the region today.
