Wilmington Police arrest woman on gun charges: 
Wilmington Police have arrested a woman on gun charges.
On January 10 at approximately 9:16 p.m. patrol officers conducted a vehicle stop in the 600 block of North Monroe Street for a traffic violation. The driver, 36-year-old Lisa Smith, was found to have an active capias. She was taken into custody without incident, and police also recovered a loaded .40 caliber handgun.
Smith was charged with Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon in addition to traffic violations.
She was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released on $2,600 unsecured bail.
