Due to steady rain throughout the night, many area roads have patches of standing water that may be deeper than they appear. Please leave early if you are driving and slow down. Make extra space between you and the car in front of you and as always, avoid driving through standing water as it may be deeper than it appears or moving swiftly. When in doubt, turn around, don't drown, and never go around road closure signs as they are there for your safety.
