* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches and ice accumulations of up to two tenths of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast Kansas and north central, northwest and west central Missouri.
* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 6 PM CST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Temperatures will drop rapidly after sunset Friday which could cause a flash freeze of any liquid water on roads and elevated surfaces in combination with the wintry mix already falling.
