Road Closure - Edneyville Community 
Please avoid US 64 E. near the Edneyville community. There are downed power lines from an incident involving a tractor-trailer truck and motorists are encouraged to stay away from the area or if travel is necessary use Townsend Road to Fruitland Road to Gilliam Road to avoid the incident. Emergency responders and Duke Power are in the area assessing the damage and the length of road closure is unknown at this time. We will keep you up to date with information regarding road closures and detours as it becomes available.
