Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed a pedestrian in Brentwood early this morning.
 
Kevin Bonilla, 19, of Brentwood, was driving a 2009 Infiniti sedan southbound on Route 111, near Lemon Street, when the vehicle struck an adult male who was crossing Route 111 eastbound on foot.
 
The victim, who has not yet been identified by police, was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore where he was pronounced dead.
 
Bonilla was not injured. The Infiniti was impounded for a safety check
 
Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to contact the Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
