Avoid Rt 31 beginning Wednesday due to heavy expected traffic for cannabis dispensary opening near Rt. 31 & Airport Rd. 
As you know, recreational cannabis sales begin on Wednesday, January 1st and we're expecting heavy traffic in the area for the first several days. Sales begin at 9am at the existing dispensary on Rt 31, just north of Airport Rd. As such, we recommed that you avoid the area if possible.
Officers will be on scene helping to manage traffic and the dispensary will have people present to help direct people. To be clear, all officer traffic control expenses are being covered by the dispensary. No Village funds are being used for this traffic control.
