New Year's Day Garbage Collection Changes & Borough Office Closures 
Residents, please note the following changes due to New Year's Day:
Garbage normally collected on Wednesdays will instead be collected on Friday, January 3rd. These residents should place their garbage at the curb Thursday evening.
Garbage normally collected on Tuesdays and Thursdays will be collected as normal.
Yard waste will be collected on Monday, December 30th.
There will be no bulk pick ups on Friday, January 3rd.
South River Borough Offices, Department of Public Works, Police Records and Municipal Court will be closed on Wednesday, January 1st.
