Jackson Police Investigators continue investigating the finding of skeletal remains in the creek bed located at Oil Well Road.

On December 25th, Jackson Police responded to the area of Oil Well Road for a report of bones, possibly human, being found in the creek bed just West of Old Humboldt Road.  Jackson Police Investigators and cadaver dog teams searched approximately a three-mile area of the Moize Creek bed.  During the search, investigators recovered multiple items as well as additional skeletal remains.  All of the items recovered along with the skeletal remains are being sent for forensic testing and identification.
