Road Closure- Henry St (Update) 
UPDATE: Henry St now has one lane open. Signal crews are on scene directing traffic. Expect delays throughout the day as work to restore power/communication lines is completed.
PREVIOUS MESSAGE:
Henry Street between Forest Park and Ross Road will be closed until at least 11:00 AM on 12/26/19 due to downed power lines. Consumers Power estimates to have the Northbound lane open after 11:00 AM, but the Southbound lane is expected to be closed all day.
This is the result of an elderly driver who lost control after a possible medical issue. No serious injuries were sustained in the single vehicle crash.
There are power outages in the area at this time. NSPD, NSFD, and Consumers Power are currently on scene. Please avoid the area while the roadway is being cleared. Alternate routes to cross Mona Lake include Lake Harbor Rd or Grand Haven Rd.
