Juvenile Arrested for Attempted Murder (Mokelumne Hill)
On December 22, 2019 at about 5:25 PM the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a victim suffering from a gunshot wound at the Mokelumne Hill Community Park (end of Main St). When deputies arrived they found one victim of a gunshot wound. Deputies learned the victim had planned to meet the suspect at the park and that this was not a random incident. The victim was transported to a valley hospital for treatment.
Detectives were called to the location to continue the investigation efforts. One juvenile was arrested for 664/187pc (Attempted Murder). This investigation is ongoing at this time. No further information is available.
