1 Injured in crash
Sheriff Richard J Behnke reports that on 12/20/2019 at approximately 1912 hrs., his office was called to investigate a personal injury crash that occurred on Bald Hill Street, near Tower Road, in Newberg Township, Cass County Michigan. 26-year-old Edwardsburg resident, Ryan Ward, was westbound when he lost control of his vehicle running off the roadway and the curves striking a guard rail and tree. He was transported to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo for treatment of his injuries. At this time proper seatbelt usage is undetermined and drugs and alcohol did not appear to be a factor. This case remains under investigation.
