SUSPECT(S): Christopher Elliot Shimmel, 47-years-old, resident of San Bernardino
SUMMARY: On December 18, 2019, San Bernardino County Probation Department and San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Specialized Investigations Division, Crimes Against Children Detail (CAC) conducted a compliance check on Christopher Shimmel , a sex registrant who is on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) in the city of San Bernardino.
On Thurday, December 18, 2019, Shimmel was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics and a weapon. Shimmel was arrested for HS1130 and PC22210, at the conclusion of my investigation Shimmel was booked at West Valley Detention Center.
