Details: On Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at 11:23 AM, Corcoran officers were dispatched to a residence in the 600 block of North Avenue regarding a family disturbance. Upon arrival, a female told officers that Gabriel Herrera was in possession of nude photos of his underage family members on his phone. The investigation revealed Herrera hid a recording device in the residence and secretly captured pictures and/or videos of others. The captured images included victims in a nude or seminude state of dress and victims were as young as 14 years old. Herrera was arrested at the residence and transported to the police department. A search warrant was later executed on Herrera’s trailer and officers located and seized several more phones and digital media storage devices that will be analyzed. Herrera was booked into the Kings County Jail for being in violation of 311.11(a) PC-Possession of child pornography, and 647(j) PC-Invasion of privacy. Herrera's bail was set at $75,000.
