Brayon Triston Rhodes was arrested on 12/15/2019 in Suffolk, Virginia.
Officers with the Suffolk Police Department in Virginia located Rhodes while on patrol and arrested him on an outstanding warrant issued from Portsmouth, Virginia. Through their investigation, they discovered that Rhodes was also wanted for Common Law Robbery in Rutherford County, North Carolina. Rhodes is being held in Virginia and is awaiting extradition to North Carolina.

Update 9-14-19:
Harley Jean Angel is in custody in Jacksonville, Florida. Angel will soon be extradited back to Rutherford County.
Authorities are still searching for Triston Rhodes.

On September 2, 2019 deputies with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Days Inn at 2600 College Avenue in Forest City reference to an assault and robbery. The victim was transported to Rutherford Regional Hospital where he was treated and released. After further investigation, felony warrants were issued on Harley Jean Angel, 18, of Lawndale, NC, and Brayon Triston Rhodes, 22, of Gastonia, NC, for Common Law Robbery by Detective Adrienne Wallace of the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office.
The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone that knows the whereabouts of the above individuals to please contact Crimestoppers at 828-286-TIPS (8477). You can remain anonymous. You could receive a cash reward.
