Due to frigid temperatures, Code Blue will be in effect for the evening of Wednesday, December 18 through the morning of Thursday, December 19. Accordingly Unity Square Community Center, located at 81 Remsen Avenue will be open overnight, as a warming center between the hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. Please be advised that we attempt to accommodate all guests but space is limited. DOORS WILL CLOSE AT CAPACITY or 9 p.m. sharp. Anyone in need of shelter or social services is encouraged to call 2-1-1 for assistance. Volunteers are sought to assist with Code Blue shelter staffing.
