Winter Weather Advisory until 12:00AM Tuesday

* WHAT...Freezing rain. Ice accumulations up to a tenth of an inch, with the highest amounts near the Pennsylvania border.

* WHERE...Portions of north-central and northeastern Maryland, especially near the Mason-Dixon line, the northern Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, and portions of the eastern West Virginia Panhandle.

* WHEN...Until midnight EST tonight.

* IMPACTS...Ice accumulation will be mainly on elevated surfaces, but a few roads, overpasses and sidewalks may become slippery this evening.

* AFFECTED AREAS: FREDERICK ... CARROLL ... JEFFERSON ... BERKELEY ... NORTHERN BALTIMORE ... NORTHWEST HARFORD

Instructions:

Slow down and use caution while traveling. Prepare for possible power outages. When venturing outside, watch your first few steps taken on steps, sidewalks, and driveways, which could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
