Winter Storm Warning until 11:00PM

...ACCUMULATING SNOW CONTINUES ACROSS PARTS OF NORTHERN NM INTO MONDAY... .Periods of heavy snow will continue to spread over the higher terrain of northern New Mexico, to include the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and adjacent high plains near Raton. Additional accumulations of 4 to 8 inches with locally higher amounts of 10 plus atop the mountain peaks will cause impacts to travel and dangerous road conditions, focusing along I-25 at Raton Pass. Additional accumulations of 2 to 5 inches of the Tusas Mountains will keep winter storm conditions through the late evening tonight. Meanwhile, impactful snow has ended through the Chuska Mountains.

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Additional accumulations of 2 to 5 inches, except 1 to 2 inches along the U.S. 285 corridor.

* WHERE...Tusas Mountains Including Chama.

* WHEN...Until 11 PM MST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult with road closures possible. Visibility may be reduced below one half mile at times in heavier snowfall.

* AFFECTED AREAS: TUSAS MOUNTAINS INCLUDING CHAMA
