WCA 3^rd ANNUAL WALDWICK READING OF THE POLAR EXPRESS will take place on 12/15 with show times at 2:00 pm, 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm.  12/13 show at 7:00 pm only.  Cost $10 per person.  Please see flyer for complete details.
 
VETERANS CHRISTMAS DINNER will be held on Friday, December 13, 6:30 pm at the Legion.  All veterans are invited to attend to the FREE Christmas Dinner sponsored by the Waldwick Women's Club.
 
WALDWICK COMMUNITY ROUNDTABLE - The next in a series of Community Roundtables will take place on Saturday, December 14 at 10:00 am at the Waldwick Library in the George Fredericks Meeting Room.  Councilman Don Sciolaro and Borough Clerk Kelley Halewicz will be present to discuss how the Clerk’s office works as well as recent activities and events. They will answer questions and address issues of concern. The Community Roundtable program was created in response to residents who are unable to attend Mayor and Council meetings during the week but wanted to be kept informed.
 
ARMY/NAVY GAME at the Legion on Saturday, December 14.  "Captain Jack's Turkey Shack" dinner will be served (turkey, side dishes, sandwiches, etc).  Appetizers & dinner start at 1:00 pm; game starts at 3:00 pm.  Cost is $5.
 
BLUE CHRISTMAS SERVICE of prayer, scripture and music will be held at St. Luke's Church, 340 Franklin Turnpike, Ho-Ho-Kus on Friday, December 20 at 7:00 pm.  See flyer for more details.  All are welcome.
 
MENORAH LIGHTING sponsored by the Waldwick Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary will take place on December 22 at 4:30 pm in front of the Waldwick Public Library with prayer, songs and candle lighting.  All are invited to attend!

LEAF COLLECTION BY DISTRICT - Leaves will be picked up by voting district.  Voting districts are listed on the home page of the Borough’s website - waldwicknj.org.
 
Second round of Leaf Collection by District 1 – December 11 and District 2 – December 17
 
Third round Leaf Collection by District ONLY:  District 4 – December 20 and District 6 – December 23
 
LAST BAGGED LEAF COLLECTION will be Tuesday, January 7, 2020, weather permitting.
 
After leaf collection ends, residents must BAG THEIR LEAVES IN BIODEGRADABLE PAPER BAGS and bring to the Recycling Center, 19 Industrial Park during normal business hours (Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 3:00 pm and Saturdays 9:00 am - 1:00 pm) or keep leaves on your property until the Grass-Brush/Branch collection begins in April 2020.
 
CARDBOARD RECYCLING ONLY on Wednesday, December 18. MUST BE CURBSIDE BY 6:00 am. 
 
WALDWICK ADULT SERVICES CLINIC - Hosted by our Public Health Nurse, clinics are held the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, Waldwick Health Center, 22 Whites Lane (behind Waldwick Ambulance Corps) Waldwick. Free blood pressure screenings, health and nutrition information and more are available. Flu shots are also available during at the clinic.  No appointment necessary. Questions?
