Holiday Display at Town Hall

We invite residents to stop at Town Hall to see the White House Christmas card display that former Councilman and Lawrence resident, Bob Bostock, brought to us.  He has quite an extensive collection of Presidential cards and has displayed them beautifully for all to enjoy.  Town Hall is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
 

 

 

Holiday Safety Tips:  The Lawrence Township Safety Committee wants to remind residents during this holiday shopping season to be extra careful.  We have provided a list of Shopping Safety tips to be mindful of.  In addition, we also would like to share some Christmas Tree Safety tips.

TWW Announcement: TWW will begin a phased rollout of its corrosion-control project on Tuesday, December 3. The project will introduce zinc orthophosphate into a portion of our 683-mile, water-distribution system to prevent lead from leaching into the drinking water from the older service lines and household plumbing fixtures in TWW's service area. We started laying the groundwork for corrosion control in February 2018. Corroded water-service lines are often a source of lead contamination in drinking water. Attached contains more details about the program and Orthophosphate.

 

Homeless Hotline: Beginning January 1st, the State of New Jersey will have a homeless hotline. Click here for details.

TWW - Connects Reverse 911 System: TWW - Connects is a Reverse 911 or "Robocall" system that Trenton Water Works will be using to notify residents about water related issues. See flyer for more details and how to register.

2019 Leaf Collection Continues Through December
All residents should be aware of the leaf collection program has begun. Please click here for further details.



As a safety precaution during this leaf pick-up season, please be advised that parking your hot car on leaf piles could start a fire.

All commercial landscapers shall be registered annually with the
Township of Lawrence by March 31st.

If you have any yard waste, you may take it to the Ecological Facility on Princeton Pike between the hours of 7:30 am and 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. 
The Ecological Facility is now closed on Saturdays.
