Kern County Sheriff’s Office seizes large amount of methamphetamine, heroin, and fentanyl.

On December 12, 2019, investigators with the Kern County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit and the Department of Homeland Security Investigations executed a search warrant in the 400 block of South Bliss Street, in Bakersfield.  Investigators seized the following items of evidence:

-Approximately 34lbs of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $308,720.00.

-Approximately 1.45lbs of heroin with an estimated street value of $39,498.00.

-1,963 fentanyl pills with an estimated street value of $19,630.00

-$15,758.00 in currency.

-Two handguns.

-A methamphetamine conversion lab.

Maria Urbina (25), of Bakersfield, was arrested for felony changes of possession of a methamphetamine lab, possession of methamphetamine for for the purposes of sales, possession of narcotics for the purposes of sales, conspiracy to commit a crime, keeping a residence for the purposes of sales, and possession of a controlled drug while armed. Urbina was booked into the Kern County Sheriff's Office Central Receiving Facility pending court proceedings.  The investigation is ongoing.
