Missing/Stolen English Bulldog Puppies - We need help to find these puppies that were stolen early Monday morning.

Stolen English Bulldog Puppies - We need the public's help to locate these puppies.

On Monday, a white Ford transport van was stolen in Fremont sometime between 11:00 p.m. Sunday night and approximately 5:20 a.m. Monday morning. The van contained approximately 25-30 dogs that were going to be delivered to their new forever families and rescue organizations throughout the United States. The van was located by the Oakland Police Department shortly before 11:00 a.m., and 24 dogs were recovered. The owner of the transport company was not able to provide Oakland PD a complete list of the dogs she was transporting, so we don't know exactly how many dogs were in the van at the time it was stolen.

We have since confirmed the 24 year old suspect who stole the van, sold some of the puppies sometime between approximately 5:30 - 10:30 a.m., likely in the Oakland area. The man was selling the puppies out of the back of the stolen transport van.

As of this evening, our department has taken two theft reports for Fable, a white English Bulldog puppy and Papo, a brown English Bulldog puppy. Both puppies have families who are heartbroken. They have waited weeks for their dogs to be transported to their homes in Oregon and Washington. Both families have holiday gifts and decorations awaiting their arrival and we need help to find their dogs.

We have reason to believe Fable may have been purchased by a man who then gifted the puppy to a family member. Based on a Facebook post, the dog man now be named Bella. We are trying to locate the woman in the attached photo who we believe has information on the whereabouts of this puppy. We'd like to stress that the woman is not in trouble and we just want to locate the puppy so we can get her home for the holidays. We have tried multiple search options to locate her and have even reached out directly through a Facebook account, but we unfortunately haven't found her.

Anyone with information about the identity of the female in the photo or the two stolen puppies is asked to please call Fremont Police Dispatch at 510-790-6800 x 3 or text us an anonymous tip, by texting Tip FremontPD followed by your short message to 888777.
