THE 69th ANNUAL ESCONDIDO CHRISTMAS PARADE

The Annual Escondido Christmas Parade, sponsored by the Escondido Jaycees, will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to approximately 1 p.m. The parade will start at Escondido High School on Broadway and will continue south on Broadway to Grape Day Park at Woodward Avenue.

The Escondido Police Department wishes to remind all motorists to plan an alternate route for traveling through Escondido on Saturday, December 14th, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2 p.m. Broadway will be closed to all traffic from Rincon Ave north of Escondido High School, south along the parade route to E. Valley Parkway. This includes all intersections along the parade route. Motorists wishing to bypass the parade route should use Valley Parkway on the south and Rincon to Country Club Lane on the north. Eastbound SR 78 will be closed to through traffic at Centre City Parkway. Traffic will be will be allowed to go north or south on Centre City Parkway. Westbound SR 78 will be closed at Ash St.

Parking lots for Escondido City Hall and the California Center for the Arts will be closed to the public. These lots are reserved for parade personnel.
