INDIANAPOLIS- IMPD Homicide Detectives are asking the public to help them locate a person of interest for questioning in a homicide that occurred on December 6,2019 at 4014 Stratford Ct.
He is known to frequent the apartments in the area of 42nd and Post. Detectives are wanting to learn who he is or where to find him. He has a noticeable scar on his head from a prior injury.

INCIDENT TYPE: Homicide
INCIDENT LOCATION: 4014 Stratford Ct.
INDIANAPOLIS - Just before 9:00 a.m. on December 6,2019 Officers with The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) were dispatched to 4014 Stratford Ct. on the report of a person stabbed. When Officers arrived they located an adult male suffering from apparent stab wounds. IEMS was on scene and the male victim was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. Despite the best lifesaving efforts the victim succumbed to his injuries and died.
Homicide Detectives responded to the scene and immediately began canvassing the area for witnesses.
Indianapolis-Marion County Forensic Services Agency responded to assist in identifying and collecting potential forensic evidence. The Marion County Coroner’s Office (MCCO) will determine the exact cause and manner of death and release the identity of the victim after proper notifications to next of kin have been made.
