Homicide Detectives are looking for information related to the murder of Dashawn Harris in Hesperia

LOCATION: Rural area south of Danbury Avenue and Farmington Street, Hesperia
VICTIM: Dashawn Lonnie Harris, 26 years old, resident of Hesperia
SUSPECT(S): Unknown
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 4:34 p.m. deputies were called to the rural area south of Danbury Avenue and Farmington Street for a man found face down in the dirt next to his vehicle, and unresponsive. Medical personnel responded and pronounced the victim deceased. The victim was identified as 26-year-old Dashawn Harris.
Homicide Detectives responded to the scene to conduct the investigation. Detectives conducted neighborhood checks and interviewed residents but have not identified any suspects.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death. The investigation is ongoing, and no other details are being released at this time.
